One of our product areas is lubrication systems, and we are now looking for a new colleague to strengthen our customer service in central Sweden.

Service Technician – Lubrication Systems | Karlstad & Central Sweden

Do you want a practical and independent technical job where you see the results of your work out at the customer site? As a Service Technician for Lubrication Systems at SKF, you work close to the industry and contribute to more efficient and sustainable production.

About the role

As a Service Technician, you are part of our service team and work with the installation, service, and maintenance of lubrication systems for customers in industries such as paper mills, steel, mining, energy, and manufacturing.

You will be based from home with your own service vehicle. The work is primarily regional, with travel within Värmland, Dalarna, Örebro County, and Gävleborg, but travel elsewhere in Sweden also occurs.

You will have close internal contacts with colleagues in service, application engineers, the sales organization, and production.

In the role, you will work with:

• Planning and execution of service and installation work at customer sites
• Installation of lubrication systems and delivery of lubrication projects
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• On-site project management – from start to finished delivery
• Documentation and reporting of completed work
• Long-term relationship building and identification of new business opportunities

The work is practical, varied, and independent, with significant personal responsibility.

We are looking for someone who has

Requirements:

• Experience as a service or installation technician
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English
• Category B driver's license and ability to travel for work
• Ability to plan and drive your work independently

Merits:

• Experience with lubrication systems, lubrication, or hydraulics
• Background from heavy industry
• Experience with welding and/or pipe bending
• Experience with project deliveries to customers
• Experience in customer contact or sales
• Good computer skills
