Job Description

The Property Unit within the Technical Department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's properties. Together, we ensure functional, safe, and sustainable buildings for operations, citizens, and visitors. Through long-term and systematic work, we strive to optimize the functionality, energy efficiency, and lifespan of the properties.

The Operations Unit belongs to the property sector, and we have a special responsibility for the daily operation and ongoing maintenance of our properties. Here, an engaged team consisting of an operations manager, energy controllers, caretakers, property caretakers, painters, carpenters, and operations technicians works together. Together, we ensure that our properties function as they should every day.

As part of continuing to develop and quality-assure our operations, we are now strengthening the operations group with a Service Electrician.

In the role of Service Electrician, you will have an important function in the daily work with operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the properties' electrical systems. You will work closely with your colleagues in the operations group as well as in close collaboration with the property manager and the electrical operations manager, who also serves as our electrician for regulatory compliance. The role involves many contact points, and you will become an important part of ensuring the operation of our facilities.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Performing service, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical installations in the municipality's properties and facilities.
• Working with preventive and planned maintenance to ensure reliable facilities.
• Participating in minor renovations and new constructions, as well as adaptations of electrical systems.
• Handling and rectifying fault reports, both independently and together with colleagues.
• Ensuring that work is carried out according to current laws, regulations, and electrical safety directives.
• Collaborating with the operations group, property managers, and external contractors.
• Contributing to the development of routines, working methods, and documentation within the electrical field.
• Participating in work related to energy efficiency and sustainable solutions in our properties and facilities.

Qualifications

In the role of Service Electrician, you are expected to be able to work independently with the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our properties' electrical systems, as well as have the desire to contribute to a safe and well-functioning property environment.

We are therefore looking for you who:

• Are trained as an electrician.
• Have several years of work experience as a service electrician.
• Hold a B-driver's license for a manually shifted car.
• Have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Have good general digital competence.

Your work experience enables you to confidently handle both emergency repairs and planned maintenance interventions. You are also accustomed to documenting your work and handling cases in digital systems, which is a natural part of our daily routine.

As a Service Electrician with us, you will encounter a wide variety of environments, ranging from schools and care homes to office spaces for both internal and external tenants. We therefore consider it advantageous if you have work experience from similar environments, where requirements for safety, structure, and professional interaction have been central.
