About the Role

Do you have experience in electrical and technical fields and enjoy a job where no two days are the same? Cleverex Staffing is currently looking for an Electrical and Automation Service Technician for a consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Gävle. In this role, you will work with the service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and technical systems in a modern port and industrial environment. The work is varied, and you will work with electricity, control systems, and some mechanics. Tasks may range from installing technical equipment in vehicles to troubleshooting and repairing larger machines and cranes. You will become part of an experienced technical team where everyone helps each other to keep operations running.

Responsibilities

You will work with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment used in the business. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues in technology and mechanics. Your main responsibilities include:

• Preventive maintenance and repair of cranes and machines
• Troubleshooting of motors and electric drive and control systems
• Work with PLCs and installation of technical equipment in vehicles
• Reading and working according to electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Collaborating with mechanics during more extensive repairs
• Ensuring that work follows current safety routines

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who thrives in a practical role. You are solution-oriented and enjoy troubleshooting and finding solutions when things don't work. The work sometimes involves outdoor work and working at heights, so it is important that you are comfortable with this. Qualifications

• Electrical education with a focus on industry or automation
• ECY certificate
• Experience as a service technician, industrial electrician, or similar role
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Experience with PLCs
• Mechanical experience

• Employment type: Full-time consultancy assignment via Cleverex
• Location: Gävle
• Working hours: Daytime 07:00–16:00. On-call week is included in the position
• Start date: According to agreement
