At Gavlefastigheter, you will play a key role in developing the company's property management and the service offerings provided to the operations of Gävle Municipality. The assignment involves leading a broad and socially significant operation with a close and present leadership style, while driving development towards more sustainable, cost-effective, and secure management. About the role As Head of Operations and Service, you have overall responsibility for operations, economy, and personnel within the operations and service department. You are part of the company's management group and have a central role in developing working methods, structure, and collaboration throughout the organization. The role involves leading through four unit managers, where you create clarity, direction, and good conditions for both results and development. You are a key link between strategic goals and operational delivery, ensuring that the whole works for the company's tenants. Your assignment In the role, you lead, develop, and follow up on operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Your responsibilities:

• lead and develop the operations and service activities within property management, technical systems, transport, logistics, as well as indoor and outdoor environments
• ensure energy-efficient, cost-effective, quality-assured, and safe property management
• be responsible for service services to the municipality's operations, such as furniture and vehicle solutions
• drive budget, result, and operational responsibility with a focus on goal achievement
• develop working methods, processes, and collaboration within and between business areas
• actively contribute to the company's management group and strategic development
• ensure compliance with quality and environmental requirements and drive improvement work
• follow external developments and translate new opportunities within technology and operations into improvements in the business

We are looking for you who have a relevant academic education in property, technology, operations, economics, or a corresponding area that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience in:

• management roles with personnel, budget, and operational responsibility in a complex organization
• work within property management and service or similar operations
• driving development, change work, and improved working methods

You are communicative and collaboration-oriented and thrive in a role where you lead through other managers. At the same time, you have a strong drive to develop operations that create concrete value – both for the organization and for the municipal operations that depend on functioning operations and services. Gavlefastigheter owns and manages properties for municipal operations. We are owned by Gävle Municipality and are part of the group Gävle Stadshus AB. We provide suitable premises for the operations of Gävle Municipality. This includes the management of approx. 550,000 sqm of floor space. Places where people meet, develop, and grow. In our assignment, we manage everything from schools, preschools, and sports facilities to cultural buildings and office spaces.
