We are currently looking for 1–2 personal assistants who wish to work on an as-needed basis. Working hours are scheduled between 09:00–21:00, seven days a week. Male applicants are preferred.

The client in question is a wheelchair-using man in his 70s with a strong interest in technology and machinery. He lives in a rural area outside Arboga and leads an active life. We would prefer you to enjoy being outdoors and staying active.

You should be mature in your approach to handling various situations, both demanding and less demanding. It is an advantage if you share the client's interest in technology and machinery. Humor, understanding, and the ability to take initiative are important to the client.

Good physical fitness is important for the assistant as the client is active. The client appreciates assistants who are direct and clear in their communication, both verbally and through body language. The tasks are varied and involve assistance both inside and outside the home, requiring a high degree of flexibility.

As a personal assistant, you must be self-assured, responsive, flexible, proactive, and have a genuine interest in your work. The job is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.

Police Certificate of Conduct and Background Checks
Iustitia Assistans has a policy of checking new employees against the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions as part of the employment process. We prioritize the safety and security of our clients and therefore require a police certificate of conduct from all hired individuals. You must order the LSS certificate yourself from the police. The form you should select is titled LSS - performing certain measures for children with disabilities (442.9), regardless of the position you are applying for. The police processing time can be up to two weeks, so please order your certificate as soon as possible.
