Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united under a single administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå Local Healthcare Area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Centre, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Centre for Surgical Services, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units strive to provide good and accessible care.

Primary Care North Skellefteå consists of the health centres in Ursviken, Morö Backe, Kåge, and Byske. Here, we work together to develop primary care with a dynamic and resilient spirit.

Located a short distance from Skellefteå city centre and close to the fantastic outdoor and activity area of Vitberget, you will find Morö Backe. Here lies a health centre that combines the best of several worlds, focusing on the whole person, high quality, and accessibility.

At Morö Backe Health Centre, we have a wonderful mix of professional backgrounds. We are approximately 30 employees who together care for our registered patients, numbering around 8,500. We work together on both large and small tasks for the benefit of the people of Västerbotten. With us, you become part of a dedicated team focused on the patient!

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

As an occupational therapist, you contribute your specific competence to increase the individual's independence and participation in daily activities. The tasks are varied and consist of both teamwork and independent work, with the foundation of the work being the assessment of abilities and skills in activities regardless of age.

Your position is divided 60% at Morö Backe Health Centre and 40% at Ursviken Health Centre. At both health centres, you are part of interdisciplinary teams where you collaborate to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with an interest in primary care. Previous experience working in primary care is meritorious.

You have a good ability to work in teams as well as independently. You are positive towards change management and actively contribute to a good working environment.
