Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united in a shared administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå Local Healthcare Area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Centre, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Centre for Surgical Services, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units work to provide good and accessible care.

Kåge Health Centre is one of four health centres in the northern area of Skellefteå primary care. The other units consist of Byske, Ursviken, and Morö Backe health centres.

Here you will meet a diverse mix of young and older people in a growing community. Working at Kåge Health Centre means you will have a varied, challenging, and developmental role in close collaboration with a well-functioning team of 15 employees. Everyone cares deeply about each other's working environment, and we constantly engage in dialogue on how to develop and improve it. There are approximately 5,400 registered patients here.

The health centre is located just outside Skellefteå city centre with good bus connections to the centre. Kåge also features Skellefteå's largest small boat harbour, located in Kågefjärden, well protected and directly adjacent to a cozy harbour café worth a visit during the summer season.

The health centres form our most important base for close-to-home care. We are on a joint development journey where we are building 'Livskraft' together for a sustainable primary care with high quality and increased job satisfaction.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

You meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both scheduled and emergency clinics. The job is varied, involving telephone advice and clinic work. A health-promoting approach is our success factor.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. We also welcome applications from district nurses.

As a person, you are flexible and have good teamwork skills. You can work independently but are also a team player. We expect you to prioritize good customer service and actively work to develop good relationships. You are positive towards improvement work to develop the operations and actively contribute to a good working environment at the workplace.
