Job Responsibilities

In the role of dietitian, you work with nutritional assessment, nutritional treatment, and nutritional support, primarily for patients undergoing or who have undergone surgery. The goal is to prevent and treat undernutrition and to create the best possible conditions for treatment and recovery.

As a dietitian specializing in upper abdominal surgery, you will have a particular focus on the nutritional treatment of patients who have undergone or are scheduled for surgery related to cancer. On the ward, you will meet patients who have undergone pancreatic, gastric, and esophageal surgery, among others. Duties include, for example, dietary counseling for gastrointestinal surgery, prescribing enteral nutrition, and advising on parenteral nutrition. You will meet patients both during their stay on the ward and during outpatient follow-ups.

As a dietitian, you are an important part of the team and collaborate closely with other professionals, both on the ward and in the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian.

You should enjoy working independently, be proactive, and take initiative. You communicate clearly in both speech and writing. You will work in various teams and with many different professional groups. We are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate and is positive.

Experience from similar work is meritorious.
