The cleaning units carry out cleaning in the Region's premises, including schools and healthcare facilities. The area covers more than 40 football fields and is distributed across more than 300 different cleaning locations. The units have cleaning contracts from Fårösund in the north to Burgsvik in the south.
Cleaning Area 1 performs daily cleaning within healthcare. We primarily clean at the hospital and Korpen, but also have some cleaning tasks around Visby. We clean all areas within healthcare, such as reception areas, wards, common areas, and staff rooms.
We are now looking for you who want to work a summer job in Cleaning Area 1, healthcare.
Your responsibilities
The introduction includes training in cleaning healthcare environments. Your duties include dusting, mopping floors, cleaning hygiene areas, emptying trash bins, and machine scrubbing. Working hours start between 04:30 and 06:00. Scheduled work on weekends may occur.
A summer temporary position involves working for approximately 8–10 weeks, starting in week 25 and ending in week 33. Some deviations may occur.
Who are you?
You must be 18 years old and able to read and speak Swedish for this position. It is an advantage if you have cleaning training or several years of experience in the cleaning profession. It is also an advantage if you have experience operating various types of cleaning machines. We prefer that you have a driver's license and access to a car, as you may have multiple workplaces during the day and need to travel. Travel compensation is provided between workplaces.
Your personality is most important to us! You are flexible, responsible, meticulous, outgoing, and service-minded. The job requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks and to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and visitors.
