At Unik Resurs, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mechanical Engineer or Process Engineer. The position is located in Lund, but the role involves travel, primarily to Karlskrona.

Job Description and Responsibilities

You will be part of a team responsible for various water-related systems. Process technology is central to the role, and you will collaborate closely with other departments while acting as a coordinator and unifying force throughout the entire development process.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the functionality of your system throughout the entire development process.
• Developing system solutions that meet requirements.
• Writing technical specifications.
• Conducting system commissioning.
• Verifying requirements with subcontractors or on the final product.
• Participating as a subject matter expert in R&D projects or concept studies.
• Training crew members in the operation of the systems.
• Participating in maintenance projects for the final product.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions requiring security clearance, citizenship requirements may apply.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives on technical challenges and is motivated by development, learning new things, and gradually building specialist competence in your field. You have a structured work approach, good collaboration skills, and appreciate working in a role with many contact points.

Competency Requirements

• A degree in engineering in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Thrives on challenges and has a strong drive to develop and learn new things.
• Ambitious about learning and developing into a specialist in your field over time.
• Experience in systems engineering and requirements management.
