The Technical Service Administration is the enabling authority for Trelleborg Municipality. We are a secure, safe, and value-creating resource that works proactively, efficiently, and sustainably together with those who live, work, and visit in Trelleborg Municipality. The administration's five departments have overall responsibility for planning, managing, and developing the public space in various areas. We do this, for example, by maintaining the municipality's public places, waste management and sewage treatment, water supply, and infrastructure. We also deliver internal services such as operation and maintenance of the municipality's facilities, local cleaning, system administration, and IT support.

The Workplace

The Property Department currently has 35 employees distributed across three units: operations and service, economic administration, and technical administration. Together, we are responsible for building and managing properties where the municipality has its own operations or other strategic value. We manage approximately 350,000 sqm distributed across over 200 property objects.

We are in steady development forward in ongoing improvement work where we aim to become better in how we work with projects, develop our systems, and streamline our maintenance work. The property portfolio we manage consists of local properties with a large mix of school, preschool, office, special housing, cultural, and leisure properties.

Job Responsibilities

As a Technical Administrator with a focus on installation technology, you are responsible for energy projects, energy monitoring, official inspections, and maintenance projects with a focus on installation technology in Trelleborg's local properties. You are involved in budget planning, drive energy and maintenance projects, order and administer official inspections, and work with energy monitoring. You will work with various digital systems such as control, property, and energy monitoring systems.

You are responsible for the planning, coordination, and follow-up of installation technical issues and projects and contribute to the development of working methods and technical solutions. You procure framework agreements and order official inspections, ensuring they are followed up and documented correctly. You will also work with financial trading related to electricity and monitor energy costs.

An important part of the assignment is to plan, drive, and follow up installation technical projects in the properties, including energy measure projects. This covers the entire process from planning and budgeting to design, procurement, contracting, documentation, and follow-up, where you act as the client role and project manager.

In the role, you collaborate with colleagues to optimize and develop the installation technology in the properties, contribute your technical knowledge in daily administration, and also in new, conversion, and extension projects. Since a large focus is placed on developing our control systems in the future, you will actively participate in this development work and likely also be responsible for some of these systems. The work is carried out in a service-oriented manner with clear communication, good documentation, and regular feedback, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a technical post-secondary education in, for example, installation technology, HVAC, energy, or equivalent, and professional experience in property management. You have good technical knowledge about property installations and professional experience working in project form, preferably with maintenance or energy efficiency projects. A B-driver's license for a manually geared car is a requirement for the position.

A university or college education is meritorious, as is experience with project management, procurement, energy efficiency, property control systems, and if you have worked within public operations.

You have good administrative skills, understand economy and budget, are accustomed to working in digital systems, and have high digital maturity. Since the role of Technical Administrator largely involves communication and documentation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing.

Since the role will involve project management, procurement, development work, and implementation of new routines and processes, you should enjoy working independently with great precision and have the ability to lead and engage others. Your ability to clearly plan and structure your work gives you the right prerequisites to adapt and prioritize work when situations change. Your driving force is your solution-oriented approach that leads to good results for the operations.

In the position, you have many different collaboration and contact areas, and it is therefore important that you have good cooperation skills and are service-oriented. You also enjoy being a team player where you share your experience and competence with others.
