In our rolling mill, approximately 50,000 tons of wire rod are produced annually, of which about 10,000 tons are further processed into drawn wire. We are currently hiring 2 Shift Mechanics.

Central Maintenance is looking for a shift mechanic. As a shift mechanic, you work independently and together with other maintenance personnel across all areas of the company.

About the Role

As a shift mechanic, you primarily work with emergency and preventive maintenance, as well as some planned maintenance tasks. You are also involved in our 5S work, daily management, and create new routines and working methods to continuously improve operations.

About You

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the manufacturing industry, preferably from the steel industry.

Knowledge in the following areas is considered an advantage:

• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Welding (arc welding, MIG/MAG)
• Machine machining (turning/milling)
• Pumps

A valid B driver's license is required for the position. Valid certificates for forklift, overhead crane, and Hot Work are advantageous but not mandatory.

To feel comfortable in the role of a shift mechanic with us, you need to be responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive, and enjoy situations where you interact with other people. Reporting is done through shift handovers and to the maintenance coordinator.

About the Employment
