We work with quality awareness and professionalism to make every day as good as possible for the residents of Linköping who need us.
Do you want to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can combine important assignments with a meaningful everyday life. Welcome to us!
Your responsibilities
We are looking for you who are passionate about providing person-centered care and want to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for our users. If you have experience with dementia care and/or short-term care and are driven by seeing each individual's unique needs, you may be the right person for us.
Your work is an important puzzle piece in creating a meaningful existence with a focus on health and well-being. By working with IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), a salutogenic approach, and national values, you highlight and strengthen the individual's own abilities.
As a nursing assistant with us, you have a varied role where you are responsible for both care and social tasks. You help with everything from transfers and personal hygiene to household chores and medical interventions.
As a care contact, you plan the days for several users based on their specific needs and wishes. You have close contact with relatives, participate in welcome conversations, and work on drawing up and revising implementation plans. You also collaborate with other actors to ensure the best possible care.
A large part of your work is to plan and carry out activities that promote well-being. We believe that creativity and engagement make every day special for our users, and only imagination sets the limits! We welcome your own ideas and initiatives that can enrich the lives of our users. Your contribution is invaluable in creating a safe and stimulating environment every day.
Your workplace
Welcome to Garnisonens vårdboende (The Garrison Care Home), a residence focused on short-term and dementia care! Here we are close to both the city center and beautiful nature. There are good bus connections, making it easy to get here.
The residence consists of 40 apartments divided into four units: three for short-term care and one for dementia care. Of these, 30 places are intended for short-term accommodation and 10 for people with dementia.
Short-term care receives people with varying medical needs and diagnoses. The length of stay varies and the work can sometimes be intense, with pressured situations requiring quick interventions.
Dementia care is a permanent form of accommodation for people with dementia. Here we provide long-term support and care adapted to each individual's needs.
As an employee at Garnisonen, you will be a care contact and act as a representative in areas such as hygiene, assistive devices, and diet. We work with implementation plans and documentation in Epsilon/Wellfare, a planning tool that helps us structure the day. You will actively participate in the work of shaping our new structure.
Working hours vary between day, evening, and every other weekend.
We place great importance on a good working environment. Together we will formulate clear rules of the game. We have regular meetings such as APT (Work Environment Group) and a separate collaboration council for employees only, where you can raise important issues. There is close cooperation between management and employees, with a focus on always providing the best possible care. We encourage you to develop and take on responsibility roles.
Our team includes two managers, coordinators, nurses, nursing assistants, care assistants, and rehabilitation staff.
You who apply
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with experience in care and social services. In your role, you have close contact with our users and their relatives, so it is important that you enjoy building good relationships.
We value your competence and would like to see that you have knowledge of short-term care or dementia. It is an advantage if you have experience with IBIC, a salutogenic approach, and low-affective handling.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and be accustomed to working with digital tools for documentation and medical records, such as Epsilon, Wellfare, or Treserva.
As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and sensitive. You easily create good relationships and communicate clearly with residents, relatives, and colleagues. Your empathetic ability and willingness to collaborate are crucial for creating a safe and pleasant environment. Welcome to become part of our team!
