The role of Assistant Nurse, Care Assistant, and Aide with us

In this role, you are responsible for providing nursing care and social support for our residents. By offering a responsive and professional approach, as well as planning and carrying out daily activities, you contribute to creating a safe and pleasant existence for those in our care.

In Kungsbacka, we strive to give people the opportunity to live their lives to the fullest. You will work in a wonderful team where we are responsible and care for both the residents and each other. For us at our care and housing facility, this means that with great sensitivity and commitment, we provide each resident with the care and support they need, based on individual needs and approved decisions. We put our residents at the center while working together with closeness to one another.

You will work according to a schedule involving days, evenings, and every other weekend. Our facility has both somatic and dementia wards. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as digital documentation.

Your profile

You are a person who enjoys working with people. You contribute to the experience of safety through a reliable and professional approach. You are comfortable handling technical solutions in daily work and have the ability to create participation in everyday life for those we serve. As a person, you thrive working independently, can adapt to changing circumstances, and see opportunities in everyday life. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Our offer and other information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.

The position is full-time or as agreed. Within the Department of Care & Support, all employees in home care and care and housing facilities are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their working hours based on the needs of the operations.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities. Background checks may be conducted prior to employment.

As of July 1, 2023, 'Assistant Nurse' is a protected professional title.

When employed as an assistant nurse, you must therefore present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title assistant nurse. Please apply now if you do not already have this.
