The Role as Assistant Nurse, Care Assistant, or Aide with us

As care staff with us, you motivate and assist care recipients based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. The tasks may vary and include personal care, support during meals, assistance in social activities, certain health and medical care tasks, as well as collaboration with home healthcare, colleagues, and relatives. We work with various assignments where, as a representative of your unit, you participate in working groups to drive the operations forward, for example within representative assignments. The role also includes being a contact person, planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work for the person in need of support and assistance.

You will work according to a schedule set for days and evenings during weekends. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care interventions after instruction and delegation from a nurse, as well as to perform digital documentation.

Your Profile

In daily work, you show respect and consideration for the people you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude, with the care recipient's needs as your starting point, and you clearly distinguish between matters and personal issues. Working with people often involves changing conditions and new information. You quickly adapt your perspective and approach, see opportunities in changes, and can make well-founded decisions even under time pressure. You work effectively together with others to complete tasks and achieve common goals. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• has good computer skills
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent employment with start date according to agreement.

You will receive a permanent employment where the weekend assignment is time-limited for six months, with the possibility of extension. The employment level is 71 or 85 percent, plus time for workplace meetings (APT).

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented. Prepare early by ordering an extract from the criminal record. You must present Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities (e-service | Swedish Police Authority).

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, 'Assistant Nurse' is a protected job title.

Therefore, when employed as an Assistant Nurse, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title Assistant Nurse. Please apply now if you do not already have this.
