About the Job
Do you want to help shape the future of social services? We are looking for a Social Secretary (Social Worker with case management responsibilities) for a new unit launching after the summer of 2026. The focus is on preventing new recruitment into criminal gangs and supporting young people who are already involved in crime. The unit is part of a broader strengthening of our work to break the negative development among young people in vulnerable situations.
As a Social Secretary, you will work with authority exercises and investigations using the BBIC method, in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work with either younger children at risk of being drawn into crime or young people who are already involved and need help breaking the cycle. The work involves structured assessment tools such as Savry and EARL, and you will have the opportunity to use the child's or young person's own network as a resource. The work is carried out in close collaboration with outpatient care, police, schools, and other actors, all contributing to countering youth crime. The role may also involve travel to visit placed children and young people.
In this role, you will have support from a Senior Social Secretary and a team of colleagues. We offer a thorough introduction through our highly regarded induction program, where three employees work full-time to support new colleagues. You will receive external process supervision approximately once a month and method sessions every week with the Senior Social Secretary in a group setting, as well as regular individual case reviews with the Senior Social Secretary.
About You
We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work and have worked for a couple of years in authority exercises with children and young people. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.
If you have also worked with the target group of young people in crime, we consider this an asset for the role.
You take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. You think about those we serve and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the outcomes.
You have the courage and ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment without being dependent on others. You take responsibility for your duties and drive the work forward.
You are motivated by clearly defined goals and have the ability to translate these into concrete action. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize work when conditions or needs change. You follow up and report on results and goal achievement.
You convey information and ideas clearly, both orally and in writing. You ensure that your message gets through. You adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.
You can see your work as part of a larger context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization. You collaborate with others on overarching issues to create value. You take into account different information sources and perspectives and can adapt others' ideas to your own operations.
You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You ensure that work is completed on time and follow up on the results.
You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions from limited and/or complex information.
