RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome to District Veterinarians Arvika!
We need you, a veterinarian, for our newly renovated, lovely clinic. We hope that you will come and fill our need and develop the operations together with us. We need you to meet our customers' demand for veterinary services, and we have great potential to develop the operations in several steps.
In Värmland, we take care of our customers both during daytime and on-call hours. We have the advantage of working in the field at our customers' locations, as well as in our clinic where the customer visits us instead.
In our broad operations, you will meet colleagues with high clinical knowledge daily. We have a fun, varied, and flexible job. In our team, we currently have six veterinarians, two veterinary nurses, and two animal care assistants. Now we need to recruit a replacement for one of our veterinarians. In Arvika, you will join a tight-knit group where everyone supports each other and helps out. Here, we are each other's work environment, which means we are there for each other in big and small matters. We have the privilege of working in beautiful Värmland nature and meeting fantastic animal owners every day. Our dedicated work is our passion.
The position is general in nature. You will work primarily with horses, cattle, and small animals. If you have special interests, there is an opportunity to develop specifically within this area.
On-call duties are a natural part of the position. Even if you are alone, you are never by yourself. During weekends and evenings, the support line 9900 is just one call away. Some duties may also take place at our other clinic in Sunne.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a veterinarian, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks while also having an easy time collaborating and seeing the value in thinking "we". Furthermore, you are meticulous and organized in your work. It is an advantage if you are an experienced veterinarian, but if you are soon about to complete your veterinary degree, you are also welcome to apply.
We plan our work to a large extent, but since it is an event-driven operation, you have the ability to pivot quickly. Since no day is like the other, you enjoy being able to adapt to what the situation requires. You demonstrate good judgment through the ability to make correct prioritizations based on the needs of the situation, and you care about doing a good job.
As a veterinarian, you are driven, forward-looking, and like to think outside the box. Even though the animals are in focus, you are attentive and have a warm, service-oriented attitude towards our customers. You are confident in building customer relationships.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Swedish veterinary license, good computer skills, and a B-driver's license are required.
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, so please submit your application today.
Warmly welcome!
