Mölnbo School in Södertälje Municipality is now looking for a school nurse for our F–6 school with approximately 120 students. The position is 20% and suits you who want to work in a smaller, close-knit, and secure school environment with a focus on preventive and promoting student health work.

Your Responsibilities

As a school nurse with us, you are an important part of the school's student health team. Your work is based on the school health care's basic program and is characterized by a health-promoting, preventive, and supportive perspective in close collaboration with the school's other professions. Today, the working hours are concentrated on Mondays.

Tasks

• Carry out the school health care's basic program for students in F–6
• Offer health conversations, health checks, and follow-ups according to current guidelines
• Participate in the school's student health meetings
• Collaborate with school leadership, educators, and other professions within student health
• Contribute medical competence to the school's work with students' health, security, and study environment
• Documentation according to current regulations

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a professional approach, and a genuine interest in children's and students' health and development. You are structured, perceptive, and have an easy time collaborating with both students and adults.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Specialist nurse in child and youth health, district nurse, or school nurse education
• Experience working as a school nurse or with children and young people is meritorious
• Good ability to work independently as well as in a team

Mölnbo School is located with nature right around the corner. Adjacent to the school is a large forest and a modern, well-equipped sports field. The schoolyard was recently renovated and offers opportunities for both play and teaching. In the after-school care facilities, there is a public library that plays a clear role in teaching. Mölnbo School's staff works in three teams: grades F-3, grades 4-6, and after-school care. The school has a special education teacher on a full-time basis, as well as a school counselor and a school nurse working part-time.
