Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diaconal University College and is Sweden's largest faith-based hospital with a clear value base – seeing the whole person. With roots dating back to 1851, we have provided healthcare on Södermalm in Stockholm, but we receive patients from all over the country. The team consists of doctors, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and administrators with high competence in geriatric care.

About the role

As one of our night nurses is going on study leave this autumn, we are now looking for a substitute.

As a nurse, you work in patient-centered care with a focus on teamwork and support and help to relatives. We usually work in pair care and have a coordinator as support in work on weekdays. At night, two nurses and two nursing assistants work together. The ward has 25 care beds.

A full-time night position with us corresponds to 33.33 hours/week.

The advertised position is at 82% with a start date no earlier than 2026-08-17. The temporary position extends until 2027-06-06.

Who are you?

You are confident in your professional role and enjoy working in a team. You have good cooperation skills, are receptive, and communicate in a constructive way. You also share Ersta's value base of seeing the whole person and our core values; professionalism, trust, and hope.

Your experience

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a couple of years of experience and experience from inpatient care. Previous experience from geriatrics is meritorious.
