As Interim Unit Manager, you are responsible for leading two specialist teams while a permanent manager is being recruited. The focus is on personnel management, working environment, group development, and identifying areas for development and improvement within the operations.
You will work closely with the department management and serve as a support for both employees and the business during a period of change.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead and support employees in their daily work.
- Be responsible for working environment and personnel issues.
- Handle difficult conversations and follow-up with employees.
- Identify development needs at the individual, group, and operational levels.
- Contribute to group development and improved working methods.
- Ensure structure, clarity, and progress in the operations.
- Produce analyses and recommendations regarding development and action needs.
- Collaborate closely with operational management and other key stakeholders.
The role requires secure leadership, strong analytical skills, and experience in quickly building trust in new environments.
Who we are looking forWe are looking for you who have experience in managerial or leadership roles with personnel responsibility and who are accustomed to working in operations where change, development, and collaboration are in focus.
You are someone who dares to tackle complex personnel issues while having the ability to create engagement, security, and clarity within the group. You are analytical, communicative, and have a knack for turning observations and analyses into concrete actions.
We believe you have:
- Experience in managerial or interim management roles with personnel responsibility.
- Experience in change management and operational development.
- Good knowledge of employer responsibility and working environment work.
- Experience in employee follow-up and difficult conversations.
- Ability to analyze group dynamics and organizational challenges.
- Experience in the public sector, authority, or other regulated operations.
Meritorious:
- Experience from state or municipal operations.
- Experience in societal planning, urban planning, or cultural heritage-related operations.
- Experience working closely with management groups during managerial recruitment.
- Academic education in fields such as behavioral science, HR, leadership, organization, or related areas.
This is a consultancy assignment where you are employed as a consultant by OIO.
Terms & Benefits:
- Start: Immediately.
- Location: Nyköping.
- Scope: Part-time according to an agreed plan.
- Assignment duration: Initially during June with the possibility of some extension.
- Work model: On-site.
