About the role

Our client is a leading automation company in Skövde that develops smart and efficient production solutions for the industry. In this assignment, you will work as a consultant for one of their largest partners – a world-renowned player in the automotive industry, also based in Skövde. Here you step directly into a modern production environment where you become a key figure in shaping future manufacturing. In the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will become a central part of an exciting procurement project, where you are responsible for future-proofing maintenance already during the design phase of the machinery and equipment. We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced technician or engineer with a solid background in maintenance, and who is accustomed to navigating complex technical projects. You have a natural ability to see the big picture, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure that operational reliability is of the absolute highest class from day one.

Responsibilities

The role entails overall responsibility for the technical status of the machinery, from operational problem-solving to strategic planning and implementation of maintenance processes. Some examples of tasks include:

  • Requirement specification and review
  • Analysis and system architecture
  • Receiving and quality assurance

We are looking for you who

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Have fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written
  • Have a basic understanding of industrial production processes
  • Have the ability to read technical drawings and schematics

It is meritorious if you have

  • Knowledge in mechanical engineering
  • Experience with automation technology
  • Experience from the automotive industry
  • Education in maintenance technology, automation, or other equivalent education
