About the Assignment
We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager for an assignment with AstraZeneca in Sweden. In this role, you will work with strategically important customers and partners to create value, drive development projects, and contribute to increased adherence to evidence-based treatment guidelines.
The position is field-based and covers the regions of Värmland, Örebro, Stockholm, Södermanland, and Västmanland. We are looking for someone residing in Stockholm, Uppsala, Örebro, Södermanland, or Västmanland.
Your Responsibilities
As a Strategic Account Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing customer strategies that contribute to achieving the company's commercial goals. You will work closely with customers, decision-makers, and internal cross-functional teams to create long-term collaborations and identify new opportunities within healthcare.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic account plans for prioritized customers and accounts.
- Identifying and prioritizing business opportunities within hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare settings.
- Working cross-functionally with local brand and specialist teams.
- Gathering, analyzing, and translating customer and market insights into concrete actions.
- Contributing to favorable product listings, treatment protocols, and increased usage of AstraZeneca products.
- Planning and executing activities through multiple communication channels based on an omnichannel strategy.
- Using data, market analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and track results.
- Building and developing strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders in healthcare.
- Staying updated on market developments, health economics, and changes within the healthcare system.
Who We Are Looking For
- Academic degree in economics, business administration, medicine, nursing, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system, the pharmaceutical industry, and health economics.
- Experience in sales, customer management, and relationship building.
- Experience in project management and working in a data-driven manner to create business results.
- Good understanding of omnichannel work and modern customer interactions.
- Medical Basic Education (MGU) or equivalent training.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Valid B-driver's license.
Experience within cardiovascular medicine, nephrology, or diabetes is considered an asset.
