About the Role

As a junior strategic/tactical buyer, you will support and develop our clients' purchasing efforts through analysis, supplier dialogues, and commercial decision-making. You will work with both strategic elements – such as market analysis, category management, and decision support – and tactical activities related to sourcing, supplier selection, and cost optimization.

The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders within areas such as engineering, production, quality, logistics, and supply chain. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of how purchasing contributes to the business's competitiveness, innovation, and delivery capability.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

• Market and supplier analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Sourcing activities, requests for quotation (RFQs), and supplier evaluations.
• Support in negotiations and contract work together with more experienced buyers.
• Price dialogues and tactical negotiations within existing supplier relationships.
• Follow-up of supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery security.
• Preparation of decision support materials and analyses related to purchasing and category strategies.
• Cost analyses and identification of efficiency and savings opportunities.
• Contributions to category management through data collection, analysis, and recommendations.
• Involvement in supplier development and improvement initiatives.
• Development and improvement of purchasing processes and working methods.

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in different organizations and environments, giving you valuable experience and a strong network within purchasing and supply chain.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and business-oriented. You thrive when taking responsibility, are good at building relationships, and are motivated by developing in a role that combines analysis, communication, and business acumen.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in purchasing, economics, logistics, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent.
• Up to three years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in business-driven decisions.
• Interest in technology, manufacturing industry, and supplier markets.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with business systems and Excel is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or similar, is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, unpretentious, and proactive. You thrive in changing environments and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new businesses and tasks.
