Purchasing within Region Jönköping County has approximately 30 employees and procures goods and services worth around 2.5 billion SEK per year.

The Role of IT Procurement Specialist

As an IT Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for the entire procurement process – from needs analysis to final contract and follow-up. You work closely with the business operations and become a key advisor in matters concerning procurement and contracts.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Leading procurement projects with clear structure and progress
Developing contracts that create value and long-term sustainability
Supporting the business in strategic and operational procurement matters
Contributing to the development of category management and working methods

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in public procurement, preferably within IT
Strong project management skills and experience driving multiple processes in parallel
High capacity, good structure, and ability to prioritize
A collaborative personality and a positive attitude
Relevant education in economics, law, IT, or equivalent.

You are confident, engaged, and enjoy creating involvement and building good relationships.
