Social Responsibility Coordinator (SAS) at Jokkmokk Municipality
Jokkmokk is a municipality with its sights set on the future! We are a place where community and responsibility are at the center, where your skills and ideas can become part of shaping the way forward. If you value a high quality of life with close access to both nature and community, Jokkmokk offers a rich cultural life and cost-effective leisure opportunities to experience. Welcome to a municipality that combines industriousness and helpfulness – here you can be part of creating something new.
We are looking for you who want to contribute to Jokkmokk's continued development and help strengthen the future social services – in a role where you get to combine quality, development, and strategic influence.
About the Role
As a Social Responsibility Coordinator (SAS), you will have a central and significant role in our development group together with several colleagues. You will become an important part of the social services' management function and actively contribute to developing quality, legal certainty, and long-term sustainability in the operations.
You will become part of a qualified development environment with specialist functions such as a medically responsible nurse and a business developer. Here, you will work closely with engaged colleagues in an organization that values collaboration, quality, and a clear individual focus. In the role of SAS, you work in close cooperation with the medically responsible nurse (MAS). The social services in Jokkmokk cover individual and family care, elderly care, health care, and disability support.
Responsibilities
The role of SAS is broad, developmental, and strategically important. You work with qualified investigative work, business planning, and development initiatives that strengthen the quality of the social services' operations based on current legislation and regulations. The assignment includes developing, training, and ensuring the quality of social services processes, creating routines, and compiling the annual quality report together with the MAS. You lead and support working groups and act as a qualified support to managers in matters concerning quality, development, and training.
You are also responsible for following up on the operations' self-control and the social services' deviation management, as well as creating routines and following up on documentation within social work.
As SAS, you independently investigate reports of misconduct according to Lex Sarah on delegation from the board, as well as assess and make decisions in these cases. Together with the operations, you create and follow up on action plans. Serious misconduct is reported to the Swedish Inspectorate of Care and Services (IVO).
You are responsible for coordination and environmental scanning, keeping yourself updated on current laws, regulations, and ordinances. The role also includes identifying, analyzing, and evaluating development and improvement areas within the social board's operations. You report directly to the Social Services Director.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for you who are a social worker or have other education that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the assignment. You have experience from the social services' areas of operation and a good understanding of the requirements placed on quality, legal certainty, and development work within public operations.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with quality issues, follow-up, and development work within social services or care and assistance.
As a person, you have a clear development focus and a strong commitment to meeting both today's and tomorrow's challenges within the social services. You work in a structured and independent manner, have good self-awareness, and the ability to think strategically. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have an easy time creating trusting collaborations.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.
