Cook/Kitchen Staff for Inn in Fjätervålen
We run a small inn in Fjätervålen with 150 seats and full beverage service rights. We primarily serve a lunch buffet, simple à la carte dishes, and coffee breaks. We are also open on certain evenings throughout the week featuring different themes such as pizza nights, afterski, and game meat evenings. A couple of times per season, we host larger events such as camps, conferences, and parties in the restaurant.
Your Responsibilities
Your main tasks will involve planning, preparing, and cooking food and bread. You will be involved in ordering supplies and supporting the rest of the restaurant team as needed. You are responsible for the kitchen and ensuring the operations run smoothly. As we are a small, family-oriented ski resort, it is important that you are unpretentious and a team player. We primarily work with Swedish ingredients, putting our hearts into what we do and how we treat each other.
For the right person, there are great opportunities to influence the menu and layout.
Our Culture
At our resort, hospitality, solution-focus, and flexibility are at the center. We are passionate about skiing and creating the best possible experience for both guests and staff. We are a small team of approximately 30 employees during the winter, working closely together, crossing departmental boundaries, and with short decision-making paths.
About Fjätervålen

The area also features 5 km of excellent cross-country ski trails, a ski shop/rental, a convenience store, cottage agency, and a ski school.
Vision and Development
We hope you want to join us on our exciting development journey in the coming years. Our ambition is to become a climate-smart mountain destination offering authentic mountain experiences with sustainability in focus. Future plans include a chairlift, hotel operations, cottages, apartments, a summit lodge, mountain bike trails, and more. The goal is for construction to start in the summer of 2027.
Conditions and Application
We offer the possibility to rent staff accommodation within walking distance to the workplace, as well as access to staff benefits for both you and your family.
Recruitment is ongoing throughout the summer. The position starts in mid-December and ends in early April.
We look forward to receiving your application!
