We are looking for a Site Manager / Foreman in Earthworks & Civil Engineering

Do you want a varied and responsible role in a local earthworks and civil engineering company where you get to be involved from planning to project completion?

At KMT Klippans Maskintjänst AB, we are now looking for a Site Manager/Foreman who wants to become an important part of our daily operations. Here, you will have a broad role where you plan, lead, and follow up on work within earthworks, civil engineering, private sewage systems, excavation, transport, and other contracting assignments.

About the role

As a Site Manager/Foreman with us, you play a central role in planning and distributing daily work. You interact with customers, suppliers, and skilled workers, ensuring that projects are driven forward in a structured and efficient manner.

The responsibilities may include, among other things:

• Planning and coordinating projects and daily tasks
• Distributing tasks to skilled workers and machine operators
• Maintaining ongoing contact with customers, clients, and suppliers
• Scheduling site visits and following up on ongoing work
• Preparing quotations and simple calculations
• Ordering materials, transport, and resources
• Monitoring time, materials, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) work, and invoicing data
• Responsible for documentation, self-inspections, and quality assurance
• Handling matters related to private sewage systems
• Contributing to structure, planning, and development in daily operations
• Environmental work & mass handling

The position is broad and involves both office work and field work at construction sites.

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and confident in leading others. You must be able to plan ahead, make daily decisions, and communicate effectively with both customers and employees.

You thrive in a role where things happen quickly and where you act as the link between the office, the customer, and the field staff.

We would like you to:

• Have experience from earthworks, civil engineering, construction, water/sewage, or a similar industry
• Have previous experience in foremanship, site management, or project management
• Be accustomed to planning, coordinating, and following up on work
• Have good computer skills and administrative ability
• Be clear, solution-oriented, and self-reliant
• Have a good understanding of economics, schedules, and resources
• Have experience leading others
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

Experience with private sewage systems, calculations, contract law, and public procurement is considered a merit.
