The Role of Project Manager for Aquatic Centers

As a Project Manager, you play a key role in ensuring that our swimming pool and aquatic center projects are built according to our concept and technical platform. You are responsible for ensuring that our projects are carried out with high quality and cost-effectiveness by acting as a crucial support for our local departments in pool-specific matters. You are involved throughout the entire process, from early market and customer processing and bidding, to design, production, completion, and even during the warranty period.

A central part of the role is to further develop NCC’s concepts and technical guidelines for aquatic center construction, as well as to contribute to knowledge sharing between our projects. You are the specialist who leads them through the process.

You report to Jesper, who is the Segment Manager for Aquatic Centers, with a team located in various cities across Sweden. We hold digital team meetings every week and also meet regularly in person to share experiences and knowledge.

About the Department of Business and Operational Development Building Sweden

The department includes the units Technology & Sustainability, Operational Development, Procurement, as well as the Market and Segment unit, where the position of Project Manager for Aquatic Centers is located.

Your Profile as Project Manager

• You have documented experience from construction production and/or design of swimming pools/aquatic centers.
• You are skilled at building relationships, whether you are meeting with customers, colleagues, or our subcontractors. Sometimes you take on a specialist role, and at other times you have a more supportive role. Regardless, you enjoy sharing your knowledge.
• You are self-motivated, structured, and accustomed to taking responsibility.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment located at one of our offices in Sweden, preferably from Uppsala and southwards. A valid driver's license is required as the role involves significant travel. In accordance with NCC’s safety culture, we conduct background checks on our final candidates.
