In this way, Region Uppsala can assume its role, both regionally and nationally.

Do you want to develop and contribute to the development of Region Uppsala? Welcome to work with us!

Our Operations

The Unit for Strategic Development works to develop the entire health and medical care sector as well as dental care. We work based on the goal that care should be equitable, safe, sustainable, and efficient, as well as person-centered with a clear focus on health-promoting initiatives. We have the overall responsibility for coordinating the transition work "Nära Vård" (Close Care). What we do always stems from a holistic perspective – for the benefit of our residents and our operations. We support operations in systematic quality work, improvement leadership, and the development of sustainable working methods that make a real difference for patients and employees. We have the coordinating responsibility for the development of Region Uppsala's quality management system for health and medical care and dental care, as well as for the local system for knowledge steering in the entire county. We also work with digital development, e-services, and better use of health data within the framework of the future care information environment.

Your Assignment

As a Process Manager with us, you will contribute to driving and developing the region's overall quality work. You will conduct process mapping, gap analyses, review of remits, and creation of process maps. You will also support process development within the framework of other development projects and participate in developing method support that facilitates change work in care. You will play a key role in developing region-wide processes for management and steering, as well as support processes linked to the development of Region Uppsala's overarching quality management system. You will also contribute to the work with the local system for knowledge steering, which also includes the county's municipalities and is in an active development phase.

Your Qualifications

You have a relevant academic degree, for example, a licensed healthcare profession, a civil engineer, a political scientist, or a public health scientist, or other higher education that, in combination with experience and competence, is assessed as relevant for the position. You have extensive experience in process development and can demonstrate results in completed development and improvement projects.

You have good knowledge of Office 365 and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new digital system support. It is an advantage if you have experience from the health and medical care sector, as well as knowledge and experience of improvement leadership, person-centered, and health-promoting working methods.

Your Competence

As a person, you are curious, responsible, and motivated by improving care for patients and their relatives. You have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships and are skilled at collaborating. To succeed in the role, you need to be curious, structured, driving, and self-starting. You can absorb and analyze complex information and have the ability to see the whole picture in a larger system. A process-oriented working method is natural to you, and you actively contribute to developing and improving working methods together with colleagues.

The work requires you to switch between strategic and operational focus. You work independently within given frameworks and deliver with quality and on time. At the same time, you enjoy being part of a work group where knowledge is shared and developed together. The role involves many contacts, both internally and externally. Therefore, you need to be secure in your communication and able to adapt messages to different target groups. You express yourself well in speech and writing and can present complex issues in a clear and pedagogical manner. A person-centered approach is a natural starting point in your work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
