About the Assignment

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Technical Project Manager for a consulting assignment related to the implementation of Windows 11 within the IT environment of Region Stockholm, based at Karolinska University Hospital.

The assignment involves planning, leading, and coordinating the rollout of Windows 11 as well as lifecycle management of computers in both administrative and healthcare environments. The role requires a good understanding of IT workstations, technical changes, business-oriented work, and project management in complex organizations. The assignment is described as a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager at competency level 5 within the area of leadership and governance.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Plan, lead, and coordinate the rollout of Windows 11.
• Collaborate closely with the hospital's IT department and operations.
• Manage communication with the IT department and end-users.
• Handle risks, escalations, and ensure delivery according to time and budget.
• Coordinate testing, resources, and logistics together with other sub-projects.
• Report regularly to the steering group and management.

The assignment covers both administrative workstations and workstations in healthcare environments, which places high demands on planning, security, and business adaptation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Technical Project Manager.
• Experience with large-scale IT implementations or rollout projects.
• Good understanding of Windows client environments, IT workstations, and lifecycle management.
• Experience working in large organizations, preferably in the public sector or healthcare environment.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Good habit of reporting to steering groups and management.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.

Preferred Qualifications

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from Region Stockholm or other public sector operations.
• Experience from Karolinska University Hospital or healthcare-related IT environments.
• Experience with Windows 11 projects.
• Experience in technical change management.
• Experience in test coordination, resource planning, and logistics flows.
