OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test, and deploy satellites and subsystems for space missions in areas such as communication, earth observation, and space research, for institutional and commercial customers both within and outside Europe.
Do you want to work in a central role where structure, coordination, and information control are crucial to project success? We are now looking for a Document Manager for a fixed-term position of one year, who will ensure efficient and reliable document management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
About the role
As a Document Manager, you are responsible for maintaining structure, quality, and traceability in project documentation. You work closely with project teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure that the correct information is accurate, accessible, and delivered on time.
You act as a central coordination point for all documentation-related issues and support multiple projects in parallel. The role requires a structured approach, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with clear deadlines.
Main responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be the main contact for documentation-related issues in projects
- Ensure structure, accuracy, and traceability in documentation
- Manage document lists, metadata, and document flows
- Ensure that documents meet requirements for format, templates, and standards
- Coordinate the receipt, review, and distribution of documentation
- Work in document management systems (Windchill PDM Link)
- Support project reporting and delivery of documentation packages
- Drive and follow up on documentation activities among multiple stakeholders
- Contribute to improving processes and working methods
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has very good general computer skills and feels very comfortable working in various systems
- Has very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Is system- and process-oriented and can quickly learn new tools and methods
- Has experience in administrative or coordinating roles, preferably in a project environment
- Is service-oriented and enjoys supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Takes responsibility and actively drives and follows up on documentation-related issues
- Works in a structured and meticulous manner, with good prioritization skills
- Is comfortable working against deadlines and handling multiple parallel tasks
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
Meritorious:
- Experience with document management systems (especially Windchill, or other PLM systems)
- Experience working in large or complex system environments
- Experience or understanding of configuration management
- Experience with standards such as ISO 9001 or ECSS
