On behalf of a leading private hospital in Dubai, we are seeking a dermatology consultant for a contract of at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

The hospital is part of a well-established international healthcare group known for its high clinical standards, modern facilities, and excellent reputation. The patient population consists largely of international, European, and VIP patients who expect outstanding clinical care, communication, and service.

The position offers a tax-free annual salary of approximately €190,000–205,000, in addition to performance-based bonuses and commission on aesthetic procedures.

About the role

As a dermatology consultant, you will work with both medical and aesthetic dermatology. You will manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions while also performing aesthetic procedures in a market with significant demand for cosmetic treatments.

The role involves close patient interaction and is particularly suited to physicians who enjoy consultations, relationship building, and caring for an international patient population.

You will work in modern clinical facilities alongside experienced colleagues and specialists from a wide range of medical disciplines.

Typical responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment of dermatologic conditions
• Outpatient consultations in medical dermatology
• Aesthetic consultations and treatments
• Skin examinations and patient follow-up
• Management of acute and chronic skin diseases
• Injectable treatments and other aesthetic procedures, depending on experience
• Laser treatments and cosmetic dermatology procedures
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals
• Contributing to high levels of patient satisfaction and quality of care

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist in dermatology
• Has a minimum of three years of experience at consultant level following specialist qualification
• Has experience in aesthetic dermatology
• Has excellent English communication skills
• Has a professional presentation and strong patient-centered approach
• Thrives in an international working environment

Preferred candidate background

We are particularly interested in candidates who completed their specialist training and currently hold specialist recognition in one of the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Ireland, the United Kingdom (with CCT), Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, or South Korea.

These qualifications are highly regarded within the UAE licensing framework and typically allow for a streamlined licensing process.

Salary and benefits

The position offers a tax-free salary of approximately AED 70,000–75,000 per month, equivalent to approximately €190,000–205,000 per year.

In addition, consultants receive commission on aesthetic procedures, providing significant additional earning potential.

For physicians trained and certified in the countries listed above, the licensing process is generally straightforward and managed entirely by the employer’s dedicated licensing team.
