Nikkala School is looking for an engaged and confident teacher in wood and metal crafts to teach grades 4–6. We are looking for you who want to contribute to the students' development through creative, structured, and joyful learning.

Your profile

As a crafts teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in wood and metal crafts according to the current curriculum. You create a safe learning environment where safety, creative joy, and learning go hand in hand. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the work team and other staff at the school.

Extent: 13% part-time position, scheduled for one day.

Your responsibilities

  • Teach students in grades 4–6 in wood and metal crafts
  • Plan and follow up on teaching based on Lgr22
  • Assess and document students' knowledge development
  • Actively work with safety, structure, and a good working environment in the craft rooms
  • Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians

Qualifications

  • Certified teacher with qualifications in wood and metal crafts for grades 4–6
  • Good didactic skills and subject knowledge
  • Ability to build good relationships with students
  • Structured, responsible, and confident in your leadership role
