About the operation:

Karlslundsskolan is a well-functioning F-9 school located in central Vallentuna with proximity to good transport links. The school has approx. 500 students and 80 employees. The school has all premises in its own management and a restaurant kitchen.

We have strengthened school start-up which is applied in all schools year F–6 in Vallentuna Municipality. This means that leisure-time staff and teachers collaborate based on their different competencies to make the students' school day as diverse as possible.

Responsibilities:

As a certified teacher in the leisure-time center, you have a great responsibility in planning and driving the development in the leisure-time center and the school together with the rest of the staff. You participate in the leisure-time center's development group to co-plan and organize the development of the leisure-time center. With a certification as a teacher in the subject of art, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on your own art lessons in lower and middle school. You meet and start from each student's needs and prerequisites. You are a clear leader and an adult role model who finds it easy to collaborate, build relationships, and be clear in dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues. You contribute positively and creatively and see possibilities in new challenges.

Collaboration takes place in teams for both school and leisure time, for a holistic view of the students' learning.

Qualifications:

• You have a leisure-time teacher degree with teacher certification or equivalent education and qualification in the subject of art.
• You are well acquainted with the school's and leisure-time center's mission and steering documents.
• You have good digital competence.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
