We are currently looking for a certified teacher for the after-school center (fritidshem) at Kyrkskolan. The position is permanent, full-time (100%), starting on August 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

As a teacher for the after-school center, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up on, and developing education in the after-school center in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and After-School Center (Lgr22, chapters 1, 2, and 4) as well as the Education Act. The responsibility also includes ensuring the after-school center's work in stimulating students' development and learning, as well as offering a meaningful leisure time that promotes safety, participation, and social community. The school's mandatory education and the after-school center's activities should together form a whole.

A central function for a teacher in the after-school center is to lead the after-school center department, and one of the most important tools is familiarity with the curriculum and other regulatory documents that set the goals for the operations.

In your role, you will among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate education for the after-school center.
• Lead the team for the after-school center.
• Work with students, both individually and in small groups.
• Act as a resource in the classroom during school hours.

Qualifications

We want you who apply for the position to have:

• Licensure as a teacher for the after-school center.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Meritorious qualifications include:

• Being a good leader who is familiar with the curriculum and can anchor it in the operations.
• Having knowledge about students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF).

You are a clear leader with salutogenic leadership and good knowledge of the curriculum as well as the mission of the after-school center. You are good at collaborating and see collegial collaboration within the after-school center and with the school as an asset and a prerequisite for having an inclusive school.

As a person, you should be positive, structured, and solution- and development-oriented. We are a school with the desire to reach all students and see every individual every day. As the responsible teacher for the after-school center, we want you to contribute to a positive work environment by being a good role model in terms of treatment, creating good routines, and taking responsibility for good, positive cooperation.
