Do you want to help create Sweden's best customer experience? We are now looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates for Coop West!
As a Sales Associate at New Coop Backaplan Saluhall, you are responsible for performing all common retail tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the store and work according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. You are a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring shopping environment.
We are looking for you who are service-oriented, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong desire to learn and develop in your role.
Main responsibilities
- Restocking and facing of goods
- Building sales-oriented displays
- Checkout operations
- Handling complaints and returns according to routines
- Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
- Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
- Following loss prevention and shrinkage routines
- Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:
- Product orders
- Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
- Handling CAO (Central Order Administration)
- Price labeling and campaign signage
- Price changes
- Opening and closing the store according to current routines.

The position is a permanent employment of 30 hours/week with start date by agreement. Working hours vary and include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Requirements
- Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required
- 18 years of age or older, as you must be able to work independently at the checkout
Merits:
- Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
- High school education.
- Multilingualism.
- Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling.
