At Surgical Ward 1, you have the opportunity to broaden your competence within many different surgical fields. We primarily care for patients in urology, vascular surgery, breast surgery, endocrinology, and ENT (ear, nose, and throat). We treat both acute and elective patients with generally short care pathways. We work in teams and with patient-centered care.

You will receive a four-week introduction to ensure you feel secure in your new workplace. As an employee, you can influence the scheduling of your working hours through individual schedules in Heroma. We operate 24/7, and night shifts are worked by agreement. Weekend duty is included (two weekends every five weeks).

Job Description

As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for basic care, as well as catheterization, venous blood sampling, drain care, wound dressing changes, mobilization, etc.

You will experience a variety in your tasks as you work with both elective and acute healthcare.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and hold a certificate for the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

You have a genuine interest in people and always keep the patient in focus. You thrive in a workplace where you have the opportunity to work with mixed tasks at a varied pace.
