Primary Care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Primary Care is organized into 4 close care areas. Since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each close care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary Care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the close care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Job Responsibilities

The role of a District Nurse in a rural area involves a mix of telephone advice, booking patient visits, reception duties, and treating acute patients, especially given the distance to the nearest hospital. You will work closely with a responsible physician and other district nurses, making the work varied and independent.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Registered Nurse with further education as a District Nurse.
• Experience from working at a health center is an advantage.
• Category B driver's license is required.
• Professional experience is required.
