Responsibilities

The central tasks include nursing care before and after surgery, monitoring the patient's condition, documentation, and collaboration within the team.

Specific duties include:

• Preparing patients for planned surgery (information, checks, creating a sense of security)
• Post-operative care, i.e., receiving patients after surgery and monitoring vital parameters
• Pain assessment and pain relief
• Dressing changes and assessment of the surgical site
• Mobilization in collaboration with physiotherapists
