About the Position
We are currently looking for several resource staff members for Kevinge Adapted School. The positions are fixed-term (special fixed-term employment and substitutes) at 50–100% with a start date in August 2026. There are 4 vacancies.
Kevinge Adapted School is centrally located near Danderyd Centre and Kevinge Golf Course. Approximately 18 students attend the school across three classes, focusing on subjects for grades 1–6 and subject areas for children in grades 1–9. Staff work in well-functioning teams alongside engaged and experienced colleagues. Responsibilities
As a resource staff member, you are an important part of the students' entire school day. You work both with care-oriented and pedagogical approaches to create safety, structure, and good relationships. You support students socially and academically during lessons and contribute to making the after-school center's activities meaningful, accessible, and developmental.
Duties may include:
- Assisting students so that teachers can focus on teaching.
- Helping students with daily care needs such as clothing, hygiene, meals, etc.
- Supporting teachers in instruction and assisting students in their learning.
- Working to ensure the entire class has a sense of safety and quiet study environment.
- Following students closely to provide support in their learning and social situations.
- Gathering information and compiling materials regarding students' social and academic development.
- Participating in meetings such as student health conferences, student health teams, development talks, or other discussions regarding students.
- Maintaining continuous contact with guardians when necessary.
- Substituting in the classroom when teachers are temporarily absent (only if working during school hours).
You work based on the curriculum goals in LGRa22 and participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the after-school center's pedagogical activities together with your colleagues in the team. As a resource staff member, you support students in their development and ensure a safe environment.
Details of the Positions
- Working hours between 07:00–17:30.
- Substitute and special fixed-term contracts.
- Employment percentage 50–100% depending on whether you work in both school and after-school care or only in one of the activities.
You will work in close collaboration with after-school teachers, preschool teachers, teachers, and other staff in the activity. The operation is based on jointly decided structures, pedagogical methods, and adaptations. All employees are expected to work consistently based on the operation's common approach to create recognition and safety for the students.
Qualifications and Merits
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience and knowledge regarding students in adapted schools.
- Has very good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written).
The following are considered merits:
- Education as a Childcare Assistant (Barnskötare) or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience working with students with Individual Plans (IF).
- Experience working in after-school centers or other pedagogical activities.
- Experience working in integrated (age-homogeneous) after-school centers.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates good cooperation skills with colleagues, parents, and children, with a non-hierarchical focus on the common goals of the activity. As a person, you are confident in yourself and your role, and you are secure and stable in new contexts where both children and parents find safety with you. Furthermore, you need to be positive, flexible, and low-affective in your interactions. Personal suitability is given great importance.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
