About the Role

We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented freight forwarder/transport planner to join DFDS Automotive. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering transports, ensuring a high level of service for our customers, and contributing to an efficient and well-functioning flow throughout the entire transport chain!

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and administer transports based on customer needs and internal processes.
• Identify, follow up on, and optimize customer flows to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Deliver high service and support in every customer interaction with a focus on long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure a smooth transport flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement work within the business.

On-call duties may be part of the role.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where the pace is sometimes fast and multiple processes are running simultaneously. You are service-oriented, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize and make decisions.

To succeed in this role, you are:

• Customer-oriented and communicative.
• Solution-oriented, responsible, and flexible.
• Accustomed to collaborating with many contact points, both internally and externally.
• Comfortable working independently and making your own decisions within given frameworks.

Requirements for the Role

• Experience working in freight forwarding, transport, or logistics.
• Basic knowledge of transport documentation and transport flows.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sea transport, trailer traffic, or international freight forwarding.
• Experience in customer service and sales within the logistics industry.
• Experience with KPI monitoring and process development.

Consultant (Secondment):

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our customers' sites. Being a consultant in secondment means that you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work in client companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed area of employment. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the final application deadline.
