About the RoleYou will step into a business-critical initiative where vulnerability management needs to be strengthened both long-term and in daily operations. The role covers a program with two parallel tracks: a capacity-building effort to establish sustainable processes, clear roles, and responsibilities, as well as a more operational effort focused on reducing risk and ensuring that vulnerabilities are handled efficiently and within SLA.
You will work in a complex organization with many stakeholders and take on a central role in creating structure, coordination, and clear governance within Vulnerability Management. Here, you combine strategic program work with operational execution and become a key link between the steering group, project team, and operations. The role suits you if you want to influence both working methods, tools, and risk levels in an environment where IT security is highly prioritized.
Responsibilities- You lead and coordinate the program and its two tracks, together with the steering group and project team.
- You clarify and drive the implementation of processes, roles, and responsibilities within vulnerability management.
- You drive improvements in tools and working methods to create more efficient and sustainable management.
- You coordinate training efforts and communication to anchor changes in the organization.
- You establish data-driven reporting and follow-up that provides clear status and support for decision-making.
- You lead forums for follow-up, status reporting, and alignment with relevant stakeholders.
- You develop and update steering documents, routine descriptions, and other operational materials needed to strengthen the work.
- You project-manage the operational Task Force effort and ensure progress, prioritization, and handling of escalations.
- You follow up that the work meets internal and external regulatory requirements.
- You identify risks related to delivery and communicate consequences and need for actions to the steering group.
- You have experience leading complex programs and projects.
- You have a good understanding of IT security, vulnerability management, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- You work in a structured manner and can drive change in a large organization.
- You have experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- You communicate very well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
- You are self-initiating, can identify obstacles and propose solutions, and thrive switching between strategic and operational work.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with Rapid7.
- Experience working in environments with high demands for governance, follow-up, and regulatory compliance.
