We are looking for a new colleague for the Finance Department at Kinda Municipality!

Do you want to become part of our friendly team and contribute to Kinda Municipality's continued success? We are looking for 1 Economist/Controller for a permanent position. You will become part of our finance department where you will have the opportunity to work closely with managers and administrations to ensure that our financial resources are used in a smart and efficient way.

Description of duties

As an Economist/Controller with us, you will be a support to the operations at the Care and Social Services Administration. You support the operations in financial analysis, follow-up, and development of financial routines. You are responsible for budget work, follow-up, and reporting. You contribute to the administration achieving its financial goals through strategic and operational effort, and you explain finances in a pedagogical way. You actively participate in change and development work, with a special focus on digitalization and automation. Your placement is at the Finance Department of the Municipal Executive Board's administration, where we all help each other develop and streamline our financial processes.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• has a relevant university degree within the field of economics, or alternatively experience that the employer deems equivalent
• has good knowledge of the Office package and is a proficient user of Excel
• preferably has experience working within accounting/follow-up/budget/financial control
• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working in a municipality or within a larger organization
• experience from working in a larger financial system, preferably Raindance
