Key Account Manager

One of the most established installation groups in the Gothenburg region is looking for its next relationship builder.

Do you want to work on real business development, where long-term customer relationships, technical understanding, and trust weigh heavier than quick closes?

We are now looking for a Key Account Manager for a well-renowned and financially strong installation group in the Gothenburg region. The company has a history of over 45 years, a strong market position, and long-standing customer relationships within technical building installations, service, operations, energy optimization, and contracting. The operations are characterized by high competence, good profitability, and a culture where people thrive and stay for a long time.

This is not a role where you are expected to hunt for new customers every day. On the contrary. You will take responsibility for an established customer portfolio where the focus is on developing relationships, creating added value, and identifying new business opportunities among existing customers.

About the role

As a Key Account Manager, you will become a crucial link between the customers' operations and the company's technical organization.

You will work closely with property owners, housing companies, public procurers, and commercial customers to understand their needs and help them develop their properties in a sustainable and business-oriented way.

Your mission primarily involves:

  • Caring for and developing existing customer relationships
  • Identifying improvement and upselling opportunities
  • Conducting customer meetings and follow-ups
  • Monitoring ongoing and completed projects
  • Coordinating the right internal resources at the right time
  • Working systematically with customer plans and business development
  • Contributing to long-term growth through trust-based sales

You will collaborate closely with technicians, project managers, team leaders, and management to ensure that customers receive high quality, the right solutions, and a positive experience throughout the entire customer journey.

Who are you?

We believe you have experience from one of the following areas:

  • Technical sales
  • The property industry
  • The installation industry
  • Technical facility management
  • Operations and maintenance
  • Energy or ventilation-related businesses
  • Contracting operations

You can be an engineer by background or have built up your competence through many years of practical experience.

The most important thing is that you:

  • Are confident in customer dialogue
  • Have a genuine interest in technology and properties
  • Can create trust at all levels
  • Are structured and business-minded
  • Enjoy long-term relationships
  • See opportunities without being pushy

You need to be able to communicate as naturally with a technician out in the field as with a property manager, purchaser, or CEO.

We are not looking for a traditional salesperson

This is not a role for those driven by short sales cycles and quick closes.

We are looking for you who understand that the best businesses are created through trust, knowledge, and long-term collaboration.

You are the person customers call when they want to discuss development opportunities, energy efficiency improvements, service needs, or future investments, not because you sell the hardest, but because you create the most value.
