As a Sales Associate at New Coop Backaplan Saluhall, you are responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You are an important face of the company and work strictly according to Coop's guidelines, routines, and values. As a key person in customer interactions, you contribute actively to creating a pleasant and inspiring store environment.

We are looking for you who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and contribute actively to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong will to learn and develop in your role.

Main responsibilities

• Restocking and facing of goods
• Building sales-oriented displays
• Checkout operations
• Handle complaints and claims according to routines
• Self-control, cleaning, and tidiness in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
• Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
• Follow loss prevention and shrinkage routines
• Contribute to continuous improvements and a good work environment

Depending on the store's needs, you may also work with:

• Product orders
• Returns, receiving checks, and delivery notes
• Handling of CAO (Central Order)
• Price tagging and campaign signage
• Price changes
• Opening and closing the store according to current routines

The position is a permanent employment of 30 hours/week with start date by agreement. Working hours vary and are scheduled during day and evening times as well as weekends. We apply a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the last application date.

Requirements

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• 18 years of age as you must be able to work independently at the checkout

Merits:

• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions
• High school education
• Multilingualism
• Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling
