RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistive device assistant, you are responsible for ordering assistive devices to the store, checking the quality of newly purchased and refurbished assistive devices, transporting assistive devices to and from patients, assembling or replacing assistive devices, and assessing when an assistive device should be discarded or returned. Your duties also include responsibility for holding our daily morning meetings, informing about incoming patient cases, and contacting patients via phone for additional information. You may also work on assignment or delegation from licensed personnel, which includes individual training or testing of assistive devices. It may also become relevant to participate in and coordinate in digital internal and external collaboration forums.

At our rehab unit, you will help drive and develop the work together with other employees who are physiotherapists, occupational therapists, assistive device assistants, and assistive device repair technicians. QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are educated as a nursing assistant or have an education equivalent to occupational therapy assistant or rehabilitation assistant. You have the prerequisites to handle physically demanding work and have a good ability to handle stress. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, have good computer skills, and feel confident participating and expressing yourself in group settings. We would like you to have experience with the computer systems we use in the Rehab Unit, but above all, that you have the will and ambition to learn them. The computer systems are Treserva, Websesam, Sesam 2, Artvise, and Proceedo.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. For us, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and an engagement to collaborate with different professional categories within the Health and Medical Services Unit, Elderly Care, Care for People with Disabilities, and the Region. It is also important that you are positive about participating in the quality development of our operations. You are a humble person with a positive outlook, you are pedagogically inclined, and enjoy sharing your knowledge.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement to perform the work in the municipality.
