We are now looking for a team-oriented dentist who wants to make a difference

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Tuve, you will meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dentist with us, you play a vital role in ensuring patients feel well-received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, and the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset. This is a one-year fixed-term position.

The position includes among other things:

  • working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
  • performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care
  • serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics
  • contributing to the development of the clinic through improvement work and good ideas

We are a general dental clinic with broad competence in both pediatric and adult dentistry. Digital healthcare meetings and other modern working methods, such as remote consultations and digital impressions, are part of our daily routine. We work extensively with delegation, where dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses help each other with patients, treatments, and administration. Competency requirements and profile

  • Licensed dentist
  • Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
  • Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and wise manner
  • Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
  • Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way
  • Willingness and engagement to work with delegation
  • Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during the first year. The supervision program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of competence development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them to an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25 and 26.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in the suspicion and burden registers before employment.
