We are now looking for a team player dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Götene-Källby, you will meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dentist with us, you play a key role in ensuring patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, while the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented attitude.

The position includes, among other things:

• working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
• performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care
• serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Our larger clinic is located in Götene, and our smaller clinic is in Källby. For us, it is natural to have open doors, shared responsibility for the clinics, helping and learning from each other, and having fun together. In smaller towns, the challenge is treating everyone from young children to older adults. We have good cooperation with specialist dental care, which can also provide opportunities for personal development.

Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during the first year. The supervision program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of competence development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25 and 26.

If you as a candidate have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be relevant to complete theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
