We are now looking for a dental nurse who wants to be part of a truly great team!

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folk Dental Care Trädgårdsgatan, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel well-treated and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, and the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

We are a team of 35 employees: 9 dentists, 6 dental hygienists, 17 dental nurses, and 1 receptionist. The clinic is located in lovely premises in the center of Skövde, co-located with the specialist clinic for orthodontics. It is only a few minutes' walk from the train station.

We work in a positive atmosphere where teamwork and business development are natural elements. We find challenges and innovation exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. When designing services at the clinic, we use the principle: "What you enjoy doing, you usually do very well!" So come and leave your mark on the dental nursing profession with us!

The role includes among other things:

• Assisting in the treatment room
• Working in the reception and handling administrative tasks for the clinic
• Working with own patients for prophylaxis treatments, introductions, digital care meetings, oral health advice, or adaptation treatment
• Work in the sterile area

We are a clinical training clinic (VFU) and receive students from the dentistry and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance of students may also become part of the role.

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education accredited by MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to independently manage administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and wise manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during the initial period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 26 and possibly 27.

Folk Dental Care Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal records registers before employment.
