Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Here, you become part of a cheerful and engaged team where collaboration and well-being are in focus. You are given the opportunity for varied tasks, can use your full competence, and can influence your work environment. We strive to develop the business forward and often participate in pilot projects for new ways of working.

As a dental nurse here, you will meet patients of all ages and be a natural part of the team, for together we are strong. The tasks include, among other things, assisting during treatments, independent patient work such as prophylaxis, induction, and oral health counseling, as well as work in the sterilization department and reception.

Competency Requirements and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education accredited by MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education).
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to independently handle administration.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart way.
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner.
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during the initial period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25-26.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal records register before employment.
